After a lot of deliberation on the matter, I finally decided to submit this game for The Rookies Awards 2025

XMAS XPRESS was my first proper attempt at making a game in Unity. Before this I had only made a flappy bird clone and a visual novel as part of a few short courses with MAGES. As I began my 3D Platformer module at MAGES, I found the perfect opportunity to try creating a parkour game and took pride in every bug I fixed. 

Since XMAS XPRESS, I have been improving my programming and experimenting with making games for other genres besides precision platformer. I look forward to using my new skills to make better and more fun games in the future.

There have also been a few changes since the last build I uploaded

Level Changes

•  - Level 6 - Removed
• - Level 7 - Two dash gifts near the end of the level have been replaced for two tp stars to make the level feel smoother. 
• - Level 8 - Removed

General Updates

• - Completely remade the sound effects for the game in a proper audio editing software
• - A missing landing sound effect has been added back 
• - Slight changes to the menu scene
  
• - Players can no longer accidentally restart the level after completing it
